PELTON, Lorne E. Retired-Department of Energy, Mines and Resources Peacefully, in hospital on Saturday, May 19, 2018 in his 90th year. Dear son of the late Hazel (nee Davidson) and the late Edwin Pelton. Dearly beloved husband of the late Beverley (nee Anderson). Lorne will be dearly missed by his companion, Joan Crowther. Dear father of Diane (late Akei Garel), David, Bruce (Karen Sayer), Scott (Paula Gaudet), and Jennifer. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Mia, Alanna, Krista, Cassia, Kendra, and Kaileigh. Predeceased by brother Earl Pelton (late Rosemary). Lorne was an adventurous world traveler; a dedicated surveyor who worked 35 years for Energy, Mines and Resources Canada; a devoted father and grandfather; and a good friend to all who knew him. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa, on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. If desired, contributions to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated.
