Raymonde Le May Obituary

Published by Ottawa Citizen on Sep. 2, 2017.
Le MAY, Raymonde (Marenger) It is with deepest regret that we inform you that Raymonde Le May (Marenger) passed away peacefully at the May Court Hospice on Sunday August 20, 2017, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of Jean-Bernard Le May, daughter of the late Laurence Carrière and the late Roméo Marenger and sister of the late Maurice Marenger. Loving mother of Michel (Judy), Claire (Gilles) and Lise (Gerry). Devoted grandmother to Sébastien, Patrick, Josée-Anne, Eric, Melanie, Stephen, Danny and Alex. Sweet great-grandmother to Coralie, Kellianne, Nathan, Nicholas, Jérémy, Lauryanne, Gabryel, Médrick, Victoria and Olivia. Dear aunt to Denise Lalonde. Special thanks to Dr. André Gauthier for the extraordinary care that he provided for her. We also thank the staff at the May Court Hospice for the excellent care provided during her stay. The nurses and volunteers were always kind to her and ensured that she was happy and well cared for. For more than 9 months, she had the best care imaginable. She was treated with the highest level of respect, and we appreciate everything they were able to do for her and for our family. Private funeral arrangements will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Care Ottawa (May Court hospice) would be appreciated.
