VICCKIES, Roy Orlando Alexander
1938 – 2017
Peacefully on March 3 surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his wife Aline Clay- Vicckies (September 2000). Loving stepfather of Andrea (William Wagner). Father of Tara and Marissa. Proud Grandpa of Connor and Owen Wagner. Roy had a long and successful career as a CPGA Golf Master Professional and particularly enjoyed the last years of his career teaching and developing new golfers young and old. Andrea and William would like to thank the amazing staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital for their care and compassion along with the staff of Bridlewood Trails Nursing Home. A celebration of Roy's life will be planned for the spring. For those who wish please consider a donation to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute in Roy's memory.

To Roy's family:
We just found out today of Roy's death. Our sincere condolences to his girls. I curled with Roy for many years and had some good laughs and I also golfed with him.

So sorry to hear of Roy's passing he was areal gentleman greatly responsible for the development of the Ottawa PGA zone on lt's infancy always a kind friendly man.

We are so sorry to hear of Roy's passing. He was a special man and a great friend to us and the members and staff at Manderley. Every year he attended our family charity golf tournament with a big smile and hug and such a generous spirit. He will be missed for sure.
