To Pat, to Terry's children and grandchildren, and to Terry's brother and sister,
You have lost a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother. We have all lost a wonderful spirit. We are blessed to have known Terry, with his big heart and his ever ready welcoming smile. I am grateful for having met you Pat, with Terry, unexpectedly in Trinidad a couple of years ago, to have seen you both in your much loved second home.
My deepest sympathy,
Joy

Dear Pat and Glavin Family,
The world has lost one of its great treasures and we feel sad for your family. We are so pleased to have reconnected with Terry and known him during our Manitoulin reunions with his South House buddies. He will be well remembered as an "Oshawa boy".

An Irish funeral prayer in memory of Terry Glavin
"May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back.May the sun shine warm upon your face.May the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, May the Lord hold you in the palm of His hand".
May your soul be at peace Terry, and may the many wonderful memories you created bring comfort to all those who love you now and always.

Dear Steve and Lyn,
We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother, Terry. We had lunch yesterday with John Elliot, and he gave us a heads up of your loss. It would appear from reading Terry's Notice that he also was a much respected educator from the Glavin clan. We will try to get to Woodroffe Ave. following a late morning appointment.
Sincere regrets, Bill and Bev Edwards

In loving memory of Terry
As this boy prepared to enter the world
HE knelt before him
Looking upon this little child
HE asked these questions that only this boy could hear
Little child, what gifts shall you bear?
What lessons for the world through this special life I bestow?
Yours shall be the gifts of COMPASSION
Embraced by STRENGTH, WISDOM, GENTILITY and KINDNESS
Your eyes the windows to see this world as it can be
Your voice to encourage and validate
Your ears to filter truth
Your arms forever ready to hold and protect
Your random acts of kindness will reflect the innocence of ALL souls
Through your life
Examples for others to follow
And when touched by the wings of this ANGEL
This world shall KNOW MY LOVE
