WWII Veteran - RAF, RCAF
Recipient of the Burma Star
Peacefully at home on Saturday, July 21st, 2012. Thomas Robinson age 90. Beloved husband of the late Eileen (Patelakis) Robinson. Sadly missed by family and friends in Canada and Ireland. A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of St. Columba, 24 Sandridge Road, on Wednesday, July 25th
at 2 p.m. Interment of cremated remains at Beechwood Cemetery.

It is with deep regret that we have learned of Tom's passing. We have been away at our daughters in Québec. Tom was a good friend, a true gentleman and a fellow Burma Veteran. We shared many Remembrance Day services together including a special service at CSIS, in Nov. 2011. I enjoyed meeting up with Tom and other vet's for our weekly coffee at Tim's. He will be dearly missed. Our condolances to the family.

I just found out about Tom's passing. Both Eileen and Tom were treasured clients of mine for 25 years and I will miss his visits and charming stories. I know he was very anxious to reunite with Eileen and is finally really happy again.

A true Gentleman in every sense of the word ! I came to know Thomas on June 17, 2010.Rob Nadeau and I sold him his last car.A very special relationship developed
from that moment and he often stopped in to see Rob and I at Ottawa Dodge.
Shortly thereafter his dear wife passed
away.With a lonely Christmas on the horizon Paulette and I had Thomas over for a Christmas meal for which to his last day was always mentioned.
Rest in peace my dear man. It was very special to have known you.
Our condolences to his special niece (Nova Scotia )and family.
