Victor Toth

Victor Gabriel Toth, born on December 9, 1935 in Budapest, Hungary, to the late Francesca and Alexander, passed away at age 82 on March 23, 2018 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He was a freedom fighter in the Hungarian Revolution, started mining engineering studies in Hungary, then attended The University of Toronto to pursue industrial engineering and spent most of his career working for Canada Post. Victor was the beloved partner of Alexa Delroy (Nick, Rosie, Diana, Sarah, Peter). He was preceded in death by his precious daughter, Elana. Victor is survived by his son, Steven (Adele); and daughters, Susan and Cristina (Jim), their mother Jean and grandchildren (Mackenzie, Celine, Alyssa, Jilliane, Jesse, Cristopher). Victor enjoyed ballroom dancing, the outdoors, animals and picking mushrooms. Victor was a passionate fan of soccer, boxing, wrestling, MMA and car racing. Donations in Victor's name to The Heart & Stroke Foundation and The Humane Society are appreciated and invited. Special thanks to all who helped to make Victor’s last days comfortable and peaceful at The Ottawa Civic Hospital. Friends and family can pay their respects at the funeral service on Monday, March 26 at 11am at St.Patrick’s Catholic Church, Steeple Hill Crescent, Nepean, Ontario K2R 1G2.
