BRISCOE, Lillian In hospital in Renfrew, surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 29, 2004, Lillian Elizabeth Thom, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Briscoe. Dear mother of Karen Pender (Ray) of Admaston, Barry (Anne) of Northcote, and Bob (Karen) of Northcote. Survived by sisters Anne Briscoe and Iva Briscoe, and brother Wallace Thom (Marj), and sister-in-law Nona Thom. Predeceased by sisters Melanie Schultz and Velma Stokes, and brothers Ralph Thom and Leo Thom. Loving grandmother of Cheryl, Peter, Andrew, Roger, Stephanie, Craig, and 5 great-grandchildren. Resting at the McPhail & Perkins Funeral Home, 85 Munro Avenue at Lorne, Renfrew, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Wednesday to the Northcote United Church for Service at 11 a.m. Interment Rosebank Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northcote United Church or Victoria Hospital Foundation would be greatly acknowledged.
