To my Mom and Shaun, I am at a loss for words (which doesn't happen often). The loss of your soul mate is too over whelming to think of. When Dad looked at you Mom, the world stopped and there was just the two of you. The fact that you had thirty-eight years of that true love is wonderful. I hope it is a comfort to you.
Shaun, The fact that you lost your hero and the one man you looked up to is also a great loss. There is a saying that you have to be with a man to become man and the way I see it you had a great man and so you too are a great man.
When you said that I lost my best friend, I never looked at it that way, but now I have to agree.
The days will get easier, and time heals but Daddy will forever be in our hearts and deeply missed by all,
Love Stacie

Kathie,
I was very surprised to here of the news about uncle Pat. I am very sorry for your loss and my heart and prayers go out to you and your family during this time. Although it has been 15 years since my own father passed away I still feel his loss even today. I was happy to here that Uncle Pat was able to enjoy his grandchildren as my own father was not. I can hardly believe that he was only 58 at his time of passing. I often find myself remembering my childhood, and how some of the funniest memories I recall are those that include Uncle Pat. He was such a funny guy. I know that my father always held a special place in his heart for him. He will be greatly missed.
Love to all,

Kathie: My heartful sympathy to you and your family during the loss of your beloved Pat. The love you had for one another was so evident; you were exceptional as a couple in love and you both were wonderful people who touched the lives of anyone you came in contact with. Kathie, I know there is nothing I can do to take your pain away; please know that if there is anything I can do for you, I will. The staff, residents and families at Alterra love Pat and You. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

The Miniatures World has suffered a double whammy in so short a time with the loss of Pat and Colleen. I didn't see Pat very often but he always had a smile and a hug. I'll miss them both. I wonder what project they're they're dreaming up. My prayers are with all of you.

Kathy, Stacie and Shaun,
I want you to know how sorry I am for the loss that you are feeling right now. I can honestly say that Pat Mills is one of the greatest men I have ever known and one of those people that leaves an impression on you and no matter how many years may seperate you you never forget them. The times I spent at your home laughing with all of you are times I will never forget. Pat ALWAYS made me laugh and was there to lend an ear if you had a problem as many of us kids from the neighborhood did. So many memories. You all are in my prayers and I want you to know that I will miss Pat dearly. I love you all.

Kathy, Stacie and Shaun,
Words can not express the sadness I feel at the news of Pat's passing. I will always remember the good times we had planning the A-3 regional, and you and Pat dressed up in the style show as the hip grandparents.
I know that Pat is up in heaven busy making and designing miniatures.
Love, Barb

Kathy, Shaun and Stacie, I am terribly saddened to learn of Pat’s passing. I am a better man for having your family in my life. Pat represents the finer qualities a person can achieve in life. A fine example of what a hard working, loving, caring, family man should be. The love and respect I learned from him growing up will forever be cherished in my heart and soul. I’ll never forget his sense of humor, his wit and overall great guy who you could always depend on. From cub scouts to the stands at our wrestling tournaments he was always there and always will be.
