Jacob MONTGOMERY

MONTGOMERY, Jacob Ezra Age 89, formerly of West Milton, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Brookdale of Greenville. He was the former owner/operator of Montgomery Watch Service in West Milton. Jacob was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church- Salem District. He is survived by his son: Myrl (Judith) Montgomery of Lewisburg, daughters: Charlene (Kent) Denlinger of West Manchester, Rachel (Michael) Miller of WI, 14 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, brothers: Howard (Goldie) Montgomery of Greenville, Robert (Carol) Montgomery of VA, sisters: Frances Rutrough of VA, Catherine (Elwood) Bowman of VA, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife: Mary Elizabeth (Bowman) Montgomery, parents: Joel and Annie (Jamison) Montgomery, infant son: Michael Montgomery, infant great grandson: Gabriel Brubaker, brothers: Crist and Levi Montgomery. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Salem Old German Baptist Brethren Church (Corner of Barnes Rd. and Sweet Potato Ridge Rd.) with the Home Brethren officiating. Interment will follow the service at Warner Cemetery in Clayton. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the church. The Kindred Funeral Home, Englewood is handling arrangements.
