EDMUND J. BRITT Edmund J. Britt, 88, born October 15, 1923 in New York City, NY died Tuesday, September 11, 2012 in West Palm Beach, FL, the city that he brought his family to in 1954 after serving in the Army during World War II. Beloved father to his children, Thomas and Jeanne Britt of Valdosta, GA, Susan and Butch Lowe of Loxahatchee, FL, Stephen and Sandra Britt of Lake Worth,FL, Gene Britt of Okeechobee, FL, Bruce and Kathy Britt of Lake Worth, FL, and Vera Stuive of Okeechobee, FL. Dad also leaves behind to cherish his memory a large and loving extended family including nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren with two more great-grandsons on the way. He was preceded in death by our mother, Beatrice and his second wife, Nina. He truly loved his family as well as his country and will be greatly missed by all who loved him. The family will be holding a private service and ask that donations be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County or your favorite charity in celebration of his life.
