Family-Placed Obituary
ALINA MARIA FARINAS OUR BELOVED ALINA 34 years old, Alina Maria Farinas, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2011. She was born in Stamford, CT on May 21, 1977. Alina was a graduate of St. Ann School and Cardinal Newman High School. She was a personal trainer and triathlete, her happiest day was the completion of an iron man in 10 hours, 15 minutes and 10 seconds. She loved to swim, bike, run and loved her family and friends immensely! Alina was an organ donor and in her last hour she gave life and hope to two families. She was a beautiful Charismatic force of life and will be missed by her family and her beloved friends. Alina is survived by her sister, Elena (Ellie) Farinas; her two dads, Albie Farinas and Ned Coffin; her mother, Ginny McCreery; her grandmothers, Alina Farinas, Alma McCreery and Joyce Coffin, all of her extended family and her beloved dog, Olive. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 22 at St. Edward's Church Catholic Church, 144 North County Rd, Palm Beach, FL, 33480. I am so sorry that Alina has left us. My God give you whatever it is that you need at this time and in the future. I know Alina is in the arms of Jesus now and there is no more tears or suffering in heaven, with Him. Alina was my roomate for the first part of my stay. I met the family (Ned and Ginny) at family weekend at TTC. We would play with the A/C all night long Alina and I. She was hot and I was cold. As soon as I returned to my bed, she would tip toe to re-set the A/C. My prayers are with you all now...may you feel the Love of Jesus surround you at such a time as this! Love Leah

Alina was a beautiful, vibrant young woman with so many friends, so many talents, and a loving family. My heart is saddened that we lost her at such a young age. She had so much more to live for. Death is too final and you just cannot take it back. I treasure the very short time I got to spend with her.
