Family-Placed Obituary
EDWARD J. VIATOR Edward J. Viator, 84 years old, of Palm Beach, FL passed away on January 12, 2012. A long-time resident of Fort Lauderdale (since 1951), he relocated to Palm Beach in 2001 where he resided at the time of his passing. Mr. Viator was a US Marine Corps Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Mary T. Viator in 2002. He is survived by his six children, Mary M. Viator (Haney Frakes), Valerie Gavigan (James), Daria Viator, Hilarie Huscher (Dusty), Claudia Luning (Mark), Ward Viator; and his grandchildren, James, Jr., John, Elspeth, Miles and Grace. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 14 at 10:30 AM at St. Edward Catholic Church, 144 North County Road, Palm Beach. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mr. Viator's memory to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 (561) 848-5200. Dear Mary,Val,Daria,Hil,Claudia and Ward,
We are thinking of you and praying for you, we have so many fond memories of Uncle Ed, taking us to the sand dunes, riverview and lincoln park zoo to name a few. Imagine 11 kids and only him! Could any of us attempt that? I know Pete never did. I am sure they are having quite a reunion! Love the Rogers and Palka families.

Your dad was an inspiration to me personally on many different levels....He was a man's man...with a heart of gold filled with laughter and love. The world lost a member of "The Greatest Generation".....He is with God and your Mother now, smiling down on us with joy....God Bless You Mr. V..
