Family-Placed Obituary

STEPHEN SINGLETON, Jr. Age 87, of Riviera Beach, passed away quietly on April 28, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Mr. Singleton was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. We want to thank the VA Hospital, Darcy Hall Nursing Home, and Hospice of Palm Beach County for the care given to our loved one during his illness. He leaves a legacy of love to his devoted wife, Jemmie Singleton; three children, Margarie (Thurman) DeWitt of Loris, SC, Clarence (Doris) Singleton of Hollywood, FL and Harold (Victoria) Singleton of Jensen Beach, FL, Nancy Scott of Roxbury, MA; five step-children, Charles (Jean) Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Judy Johnson of Lake Worth, FL, Beverly (Cecil) Greaves of Riviera Beach, FL, Robert Johnson also of Riviera Beach, FL and Debra (Earnton, Jr.) Mosley of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other sorrowing relatives and friends. Homegoing services will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1401 9th Street, West Palm Beach, FL with Reverend Paul Jones, officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from 6 - 8 PM at the church mentioned above. Interment at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens. TIMOTHY E. KITCHENS 561-856-6637 & L. C. To Our Beloved GrandPa,
Words Cannot express the Love and Care you gave to us all. Your wisdom will continue to remain in our hearts. You're still with us only gone from our sight, never forgotten, as we wait to unite again. The name Grandpa was given only to you and will forever resides special, in our hearts. Grandpa, we Love you and will greatly miss you!!
