JOSEPH S. vonDEMBOWSKI Joe vonDembowski, of North Palm Beach, FL passed away May 13, 2012 at the age of 65. Joe was an active member of the VFW 9610, Lake Park Eagles 4018 and American Legion 271. He was the retired Chief of Police from Mangonia Park, FL. He is survived by wife Peggy, sister Louise Smith (Richie), twin sister JoAnn Head (Bud), brother Richard, children Joseph, Sean (Kelly), Thomas, Tara and Erin, and seven grandchildren. He will be buried with Military Honors at the VA Cemetery in Lantana on Tuesday, May 22 at 11:30 AM. To express condolences and/or make donations Visit PalmBeachPost.com/obituaries

I'm pretty sure this is the Joe von dembowki I served with in the Air Force, we were stationed at Grenier Field, NH, and later in Viet Nam. Same barracks, same flight in AF, we were Air policemen
. We were the best of friends, I think of him often. I was sad when he moved to Florida, when he was in RI and then Vermont we were able to stay in touch.

It is with deep sorrow that we hear of the passing of our Fraternal Brother Joe Von, please except our deepest condolences to his wife Peggy and the entire family.
