I just saw Mr. Holloway's obituitary in the Citizen yesterday (5/31/13). He was our neighbor on Dusky Rose from 1965 until he moved and very much respected and valued. We visited so many times in the days that he walked a dog or in passing. He adored his family--a gentleman of the old school. I am so glad to have known him. Ruth and Barry Trout

I am very sorry to hear of Grover's passing. He is a cousin of mine and nephew to my dad, Earl Newell. He was not only a nephew but a great friend and golfing buddy to my dad. He spent many days visiting with mother and daddy in Pasadena. They are both gone now but I have very nice memories of him visiting in our home while I was growing up. My deepest sympathies.

Pops will always hold a special place in my heart. He has been a part of my "Extended Texas Family" for more than 15 years. He always had great stories of how Pasadena began, and love stories of his years in the service and the woman of his life Gladys. That void in my heart will be filled with special memories.
