James Noblin Obituary

James (Jim) Richard Noblin, 66, of La Porte, TX passed away November 2, 2014, with his devoted wife by his side. He was born in Durham, NC on May 16, 1948 to the late Wilfred Wood Noblin & Margaret Ann Knight Noblin. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Ann Noblin Owensby, parents-in-law Brig & Colleen Carroll Kilgore, and brother-in-law Carroll Kilgore.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Nancy, and their three daughters Jennifer Leigh, Lauren Anne, and Leslie Elizabeth, as well as by Leslie's fiancé Zach Gann; his sister Jean Noblin, brother-in-law Tim Owensby, brother- and sister-in-law Mark & Marty Kilgore, sister-in-law Laura Kilgore, nephews Phillip Kilgore & Parks Owensby, and nieces Caitlin Harvey & Anna Wilson, as well as his canine grandchildren Rudy, Oliver, and Roger.

Jim will be remembered for his exceptional wit, devotion to friends, and how proud he was of his girls. Condolences may be sent to [email protected].

A come & go memorial to celebrate Jim's life will be held Saturday, November 15 from 1p-4p at the home of Leslie & Zach 3513 D.H. Watkins Dr., Deer Park, TX.
