I got to know Judge Pluim in several cases some years ago. He spoke cleary and plainly in Dept 81 last I heard him. We even got an audio of his almost one hour talk. I also knew his associate David Ribinso Esq of Hahn and Hahn law firm who invited me to his home in Santa Barbara. I knew Gov Deukmajian who per my request addressed my high school class. I was at his ceremony in Long Beach convention center when he became governor. Later he appointed Mr Pluim to the bench. May he rest in peace.
