How can it be? This, your one year, heaven day... It is so cruel that time goes on when those we love have left us. I miss you so deeply, my friend... my heart is so empty without you here. I have started to call you so many times, longing to hear your voice, your laughter, and to sit together talking, seeing your smile... oh, words do not express the pain... for you I know you are not in pain and I am grateful for that. Debi, YOU are missed, YOU are remembered, and YOU are LOVED!!!! Maybe you and Michael could share another big hug...and know it's from me to the both of you... I love you Deb, my forever friend!!!

Debi, you are missed every day. Heaven sure did gain a beautiful angel the day you walked through those pearly gates. Life here on earth is just not the same without you but you live on in our hearts and memories. I missed you so terribly the last time we played poker - it just wasn't the same without your laughter. I love you! XOXO

Debi, my dear friend...my heart will not let you go...or believe you have left us. It is so hard when our loved ones are not here with us...and there is no joy or celebration in welcoming a new year which will not have you in it! I DO know we will be together again, in God's time. For now, the blessing is you are no longer in pain. You are with loved ones in heaven....including my Michael <3 ~ Hugs and chocolate chip cookies to you. I love you Debi, My Forever Friend ~

David and Family,
Debi was such a warm wonderful person. I am a sales rep who had called on her for over 11 years. I would stop in sometimes just to say Hi and talk football, golf, Howard Stern, or whatever. I was shocked and saddened to hear of her passing, I pray that God be with you at this difficult time.

David and family,
Debi left us all to soon. When I first met her, I felt like I had known her all my life. She was one of those people who doesn't know what a stranger is. Lee really enjoyed bowling with her. She will be missed by all for a long time.

Honey Bunny, You left too soon. We were suppose to be together til our 80's or more. My hearts aches for you, to hold you one more time. Mocha & Sunny look for you every day hoping to lick your face. Oh Debi, my heart hurts so much for you. I find comfort in knowing you are with me every day. In my mind I hear you telling me what to do or what I am doing wrong. I smile & cry at the same time when I think of you. I will miss your touch and your wonderful kisses. Until we see each other again my love, I love you with all my heart.

I always looked forward to my annual eye exam, I knew I would get to laugh with Debi. The stories she shared of the special times she spent with her nephew always touched me and her knowledge of football so impressed my son, he was in awe of her. Heaven just got a whole lot brighter. My deepest sympathy to her family...

Anyone who was lucky enough to have Debi D. in their life knows what a special person she was. The first thing you think of is how she made everyone laugh & was fun to be around. She was also a thoughtful, caring & loving person, she really cared about people. She didn’t have the attitude “out of sight, out of mind” like most of us have today. Deb always made sure her family back in RI was kept up to date on what was happening with the CA family through cards & pictures. Deb loved to send pictures! Deb was the most thoughtful person I ever met in my life. The DiMartino family on both coasts lost one of our most important family member’s way too early in life, it’s going to be tough to go on without her. Uncle JR, Auntie Billie, Cindy, Nicole & Casey, I love you guys. I think about what you are going through everyday.

My heart goes out to the family of Debbie. We have all lost an amazing beautiful person. The memories she left me are priceless. We had many good battles at the poker table which I usually ended up on the losing end. I’m going to miss that laugh, smile, and tell you like it is attitude that we all loved. Debbie you will always be in our hearts!

Not a week ago, I was listening to a tape of Debi and her Grandma. I remembered the fun times we had as children. Tho we had lost contact, you were still in my thoughts and now will remain in my prayers.

Debbie has always been the life of the party, she lit up every room she walked into, and every gift she ever gave had tons of thought behind it (I cannot look around my room at home without finding some momento Debbie gave me growing up). I will miss her welcoming "Lambie" everytime I would see her and her big ole comforting hugs. Every person you meet in life makes you into the person you are today and I will always carry part of Debbie with me, will never forget her and will miss her presence forever!

Debi touched everyone she knew in a way that only Debi could do. She was strength, love, laughter and fun, yet always thought of others above herself. Her role as daughter, mother, sister, wife, niece, cousin and friend was performed with the utmost love, grace and kindness. We will love and remember all of the wonderfulness that was Debi. She was a bit of heaven rolled into one amazing person here for us, her purpose was fulfilled.

Best friends are we... my Momma and me.
