No words can describe the sadness and loss felt with the passing of Nick. He was one of the true hero's in this world. I was fortunate enough to have know this amazing man and his wonderful family. You will always have a place in my heart. XOXO

I just wanted to take a moment and leave a message to the family and friends of Nick. My name is John Pitsley, and I live up the street on Windemere from Nick. I always saw him outside working on the yard or tinkering around in his yard. Up to this point, I never actually spoke with him, just waved as I passed. A few months back Nick had a yard sale and I stopped to see what was there. Nick greeted me with a big handshake and said he recognized me driving by all the time. I bought a couple of printers and a keyboard and mouse he had out there. We stood there talking about his job and my job and everything else that came to mind. Once in a while you meet someone that you just "click" with, well Nick was that case. I felt as if I knew him for years. I had a upcoming poker night that I invited Nick to, he said he was not a pro, but liked to play from time to time. I regret I never got the chance to make that poker night happen. The very moment I read the news of his murder, I was saddened as if I just lost a close friend. I know if he had a few moments to calm the situation that night, Nick would have no problem easing the madness in that other persons mind. This is such a tragedy I cannot believe happened. Nick will forever be in my thoughts.
My deepest sympathies go out to his children that he spoke so highly of. He had a strong bond with his daugter like I have with mine. May his soul rest in peace.
