Paul Schirmer Obituary

PAUL R. SCHIRMER Of Hemet, CA, passed away on June 11th, 2011 after only 21 birthdays in 83 years. A Leap Year Baby of 1928, Paul was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He served in the Navy for 6 years during WWII and received a Victory Medal for his service. In 1960, he moved to California with his new wife, Marie. Marie and Paul lived in Monterey Park for 28 years. While there, Paul worked as a Postman and later retired in Hemet, CA. His family will always remember his joyful smile and hopeful presence. We will never forget his kindness to Marie over the years - and their loving, never changing, rhythm as he helped her into the car. "Love ya babe." "Love ya too hun." Paul you are loved and missed. Paul is survived by his wife, Marie A. Schirmer; his nieces, Jeannie Marie Traback, Joanne Boctor, and Charlene Essary; nephew, Robert Paul Schley; sister-in-law, Lovella Adams and husband, Joe Adams, and great-niece, Claire Belle O\'Neil Traback. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 3pm to 6pm at Hemet Valley Mortuary. Private burial to follow on June 17, 2011 at Rose Hills Memorial Park, in Whittier, CA. 951-658-4433 #FD833 www.hemetvalley mortuary.com
