I am a cancer survivor and I met Barbara while taking my chemo treatments at the doctors office a year and a half ago.We shared our genuine feelings about lifes experiences. Barbara shared her heart with me as I did with her.
She was a ONE OF A KIND woman for certain. She taught me a life lesson called "AMAZING GRACE" and I am forever grateful to her for this.
She had the ability to FORGIVE and LOVE EVERYONE despite ANY differences in her life. She would say "it's all about salvation and I don't care what anyone has done, I want them to be saved" and she wanted FORGIVENESS and PEACE for everyone around her. She was relentless about these feelings..
Her ability to hold onto her beliefs was truly amazing to me. She displayed these feelings OVER AND OVER, which demonstrated that she TRULY had a heart like JESUS and I am happy to have experienced the most precious gift of all "AMAZING GRACE"
It is Barbaras wish for all of us to be HAPPY and at PEACE with life as it is TODAY for someday we will be together again.
May God bless Barbara's ENTIRE family, friends and loved ones as that was most important to her.
I will never forget you Barbara on this earth and I will continue to pray for your family, husband and children EVERYDAY.
Sincerely,
Janine Griffin

Barbara was such a awesome person. She taught both my daughters in pre school and then one in 4th grade. That was Barbaras first year teaching 4th grade and the yr she found out she had cancer. She was so strong through it. She still contiued to teach. She only had a sub on very hard days. She cared for her students and believe in them. she loved her kids very much. I hope they will always remember that. Thank you Barbara for being a loving, praying, and dedicated teacher. My family will always remember you. Until we meet again see you later Mitzie Gonzalez And family
