Bruce Slota Obituary

BRUCE SLOTA Bruce Slota passed away in his home from natural causes at the end of October 2010. Born on June 14, 1948 in Fontana, CA, Bruce lived in the Inland Empire his entire life, with the exception of a 2 year military deployment in Germany. In June of 2010, Bruce retired from a 36 year career of building and maintaining the roads of San Bernardino Co. He loved the outdoors and spent a great deal of his time focused on animals, from raising hogs, goats, cattle, & chickens with his family to photographing wild deer, birds, bobcats & mountain lions in the hills near his home. Bruce is survived by his three sons, Daniel, Rusty, and Jo, as well as his sister, Terry, his brother, Tom, his cousin & wife, Hal & Fran, and many friends & neighbors. No services are planned. Bruce will be remembered by many for his focused determination, his generous smile, and his relentless sense of humor.
