Debora Ashton Obituary

DEBORA ASHTON Debbie, 56, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on November 23rd after a period of declining health. She was born in San Bernardino, CA and resided in Corona Del Mar, CA most of her life with her loving husband Doug. It was love at first sight and they were married for 33 years. Debbie enjoyed traveling across the United States, camping, sailing, dancing, exercising and long walks with her husband on the beach. Debbie graduated from Pacific High School in San Bernardino, CA, attended the University of California Irvine and graduated from University of California Riverside. Debbie and Doug made several missionary trips overseas including Hong Kong and London and enjoyed working with children in orphanages in Baja California Mexico. Debbie is survived by her husband Doug; her parents, Vergil and Waneta Johnson of Murrieta, CA; her sister, Sue Kauffman; niece and two grand-nieces. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Final arrangements will be private. Her husband wishes that any donations in her memory be made to the charity of your choice.
