Ernestina Deile Obituary

ERNESTINA "TINA" DEILE June 1, 1935 ~ January 8, 2011 Tina was born in Santiago Ixcuintla, Mexico in 1935 to Juan and Carlotta Lozano-Garcia. She was the second oldest of eight children. As a young woman she pursued a degree in nursing, and was an early graduate of the University of Nayarit-School of Nursing. She was a public health nurse for the National Public Health Department in Mexico. She met Bill Deile while working in Tepic. They married and then moved to the United States. They settled in Hemet in 1966, where they raised five children. Mrs. Deile worked as a bilingual teacher\'s aide at Whittier Elementary School for 19 years. She chose to dedicate her time to children for whom English was their second language. Her experience and nurturing ways touch the lives of many students. Tina\'s children and grandchildren were the focus of her life and her greatest joys. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Bill, her children Ella (Chris and Cory), Nick (Kristin and Billy), Tina (Sierra and Dylan), Carla (Glen and Jillian), Will (Kim, Isabella, Hillary, and Dominic), her brothers and sisters in Mexico, as well as her dedicated assistant Amelia. Tina will be greatly missed. Her generous and kind spirit will live forever in all those who knew her. Services will be held at Miller Jones Chapel in Hemet, California at 12 pm, January 13, 2011. Interment will be private. Donations in Tina\'s honor may be made to the Alzheimer\'s Association.
