All these years later and I still miss my dear friend, Judy. Swimming, Shakey's pizza, come to the fence for chocolate chip cookies, pencils and stickers and most of all just sharing news about the kids. I still talk to her
just sending it up to heaven. Miss you Judy.

Aunt Judy was the center of our lives growing up. She was more a big sister than aunt as she was 13 years younger than our mother - her big sister Pat. How my mother loved her little sister. The stories Mumma and Aunt Mary Snow would tell us!
How we loved to go over to Grams' and play with Aunt Judy's cheerleading pom-poms - play dress up in all her clothes -
I remember her wedding - I was her flower girl at age 9. Aunt Judy was the most beautiful bride I had ever seen. We were saddened that Uncle John took her away to Washington where he was stationed. So happy when she would come home to visit - it seemed each time she came home to the Cape she brought us a new cousin! We had bets that she would have 12 children just like her sister!
After Mumma died in 73 - we seemed to have just drifted apart. We may not have been in contact but Aunt Judy was always in our hearts, thoughts and memories.
I finally got to see Aunt Judy again a few years ago before she got sick when going to visit my son Michael in Ca. I was overwhelmed at seeing her again and it was difficult - all the memories flooding back - . the loss of family and Mumma. I am sure it was just as difficult for Aunt Judy and just as heartwarming to connect again.
Aunt Judy being Aunt Judy was so welcoming and loving and how I wish I had more time to spend - how I wish I made more of an effort to stay connected....
Aunt Judy you were the sunshine in our lives - we adored you. Your light will always shine bright for those whose lives you so magically touched. You will never be forgotten for your light shines bright in all of us - in our memories and love. We will always have an angel in heaven watching over us.
I know Mumma was there welcoming you home with a big smile and open arms -
I know Mumma will take good care of her baby sister.

May this candle burn brightly for you Judy. I will miss her so much, she was a dear friend for 34 years. I will remember her smiling face and her positive attitude even when she was so sick we could still laugh about something. The greatest loss is for the grandchildren she loved so much. Her greatest joy was shopping for them, especially the little ones.

My sincere condolences to you and your family. I remember her fun visits with my mom when I was growing up and they would chat and laugh for hours. My favorite memory is when she'd knock on our door carrying her Avon goodies and call out "knock, knock Avon calling." We'll miss Judy.

Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss. Judy has been a great friend to our Mom for a long time. And, following Mom's debilitating stroke in 2005, Judy kept Mom in her heart by visiting and sending cards of encouragement that always made Mom's face light up. God bless.
