Maxine Haynes Obituary

MAXINE A. HAYNES Born September 15, 1929 in Rock Valley, Iowa to Arie and Ruth Kersbergen. Maxine peacefully passed to her new life adventure on October 27, 2010 surrounded by her family at her home in Wildomar, California. She succumbed after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer for 5 years. Maxine is survived by three children, Dennis Haynes (wife Donna), Ton Schue (husband Bob) and Terrylea Hopkins (husband Jim), 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon L. Haynes (casualty of Vietnam, 1965) her parents Arie and Ruth Kersbergen, brother Russell Kersbergen and sister Irene Kersbergen Vierick. Maxine will be interred at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland Oregon at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Maxine\'s name to Hospice of the Valleys, 25240 Hancock Ave., Ste #120, Murrieta CA., 92562

You are thought of everyday, Grandma. I will always cherish the memories you and I shared. I miss you so much. You are an inspiration to us all for your strength and positive outlook during your courageous battle. I know you are watching over me morning, noon and night, which helps me get through each day.
