Myrtia Mardis Obituary

MYRTIA MAY MARDIS (RAY) 85, Of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Oct 2, 2010. She was born in Scottsburg County, IN May 4, 1925 to the late Ezra and Aurelia (Broady) Ray, and raised in Franklin, IN. Myrtia was a school teacher to the learning handicapped. She was preceded in death by her husband William Theron Mardis, four brothers, and three sisters. She is survived by her four children, Michael Mardis (Kathleen), Katherine Stephens (Barry), Cheryl Daubenmire, Esther Mercier (Pierre), eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Oct. 9th, 11 am at the Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church (LPC), Lawrenceville GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the LPC Mission Funds
