Roy Cummings Obituary

ROY E. CUMMINGS January 20, 1935 ~ November 26, 2010 Roy E. Cummings, age 75, of Moreno Valley, passed away November 26, 2010. He was born January 20, 1935 in Corbin, Kentucky to Ottie and Eva Cummins. He leaves behind his greatest love and devoted wife, Keiko, of almost 42 years. Roy is survived by a daughter Sandra Heath (Randy) of San Jacinto, and two sons, Jacky Cummings (Angel) and James Cummings whom reside in Moreno Valley. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Savannah, Dylan, Michael, Crystal, and Jennifer, and many great-grandchildren. Roy had 2 dogs, Bam Bam and Susie. He was a very proud husband, father, and grandfather, loved by all for his charm, support, love, and old stories. He was an avid Lakers Fan and Kentucky Wildcat Fan. Roy retired from the Air Force Honorably in 1975, as a Tech Sergeant after 23 years of service. Roy then worked for the City of Riverside for another 20 years and retired in 1996. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 7th, 2010 at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Moreno Valley from 9:00am to 12:00pm. The service time is 12:00pm, followed by a graveside service at Riverside National Cemetery at 1:45pm staging area 4.
