Listening to Samantha's teachers, sister, mother and father at the memorial service and seeing the 1,000 people in attendance, and everyone singing together "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine...", the blonde bobby pins with the pink ribbons, I know Samantha was smiling on us. My condolences to the Aarts and Pope family and to Samantha's lifelong friends during this sad time. What a wonderful family you are.

Sam was an amazing girl that had the ability to light up the room. She will be missed but will live on in laughter and joy because that is what she was all about.

Mary,
My favorite memory of Sam is watching her walk down the hallway at Taft with her sunny grin and her blonde ponytail bouncing from side to side. I'll keep that memory close. I'm sending you loving thoughts and am praying daily for you, Jessica, Erica and Bruce.
