Dear Tita Tina, Tatiana, Erick and Katrina,

I am very sorry to hear of Uncle Bob's passing. Condolences to you and the whole Alaska family. We have very fond memories of him from the Vancouver reunion in 1991, our visit to Alaska in 1992 and the Vallejo reunion in 2003. My sister Cristina and I were talking when he drove us and our sister Sophia to Anchorage and took us to the Portage Glacier-it was such a fun day! I have some photos of him from the visit that I will scan and send to you. Take care-My thoughts are with you all.

Dear Tina and family, we were so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Bob and I had such a good time when ever we got together for golf and visiting. Our last time at Settlers Bay we played 36 holes because Bob just did not want to quit. Bob had a lot of friends at Alpine on the North Slope. He will truly be missed. Our prayers are with you and your family in this difficult time.

Dearest Tina, Tatiana, Erick and Katrina. I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was a wonderful man whose life was a blessing to so many. I thank God for his life and for the sweet times that our family shared with him. I am thankful for the memories we have and I look forward to the time when we will all be together again, never to be separated, never to have a sorrow. Allow the comfort of the hope of the return of Christ to bless you. Remember that God promised that Christ would return and the dead in Christ would rise and we would all be together once again. You are all in my heart and in my prayers. May God bless you abundantly and comfort your hearts as only He can.

"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." I Thessalonians 4:13 - 18
