Anne Clarke Obituary
Anne Gregg McClean was born February 19, 1930, in Monaghan, Ireland, the daughter of James McClean and Eva Graham.
She was united in marriage to her beloved William Eric Clarke on July 22, 1953. They immigrated to Canada and then to New Orleans, Louisiana, shortly thereafter.
Eric preceded her in death on October 3, 2005, after 52 blissful years of marriage.
Anne attended the Masonic Girls School in Dublin, Ireland, where she excelled in sports and music. She then attended the school of nursing at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, Ireland, and graduated in 1951 with her R.N. degree. Her career spanned many years, and her particular passion was psychiatric nursing.
She is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Joan (Lance) Bunge and Patricia (Ray) Volk; and her son, William James Clarke. She is also survived by her two nephews, James Edward Mace and Gregg Mace; sister Mary Francis Walker; mother of niece Jackie Walker; and nephew Robert Walker.
In addition, Anne is preceded in death by her sister Elizabeth Mace and her only grandchild, her beloved Michelle Susan Reynen, who both died in 2010.
Anne was a loving mother, caring sister, devoted wife and loyal friend who loved life and brought joy to everyone around her. She spread her Irish wit and charm wherever she went and was beautiful inside and out.
She entered into eternal rest on June 23, 2014, following a three-year struggle with a host of medical problems.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service celebrating her life on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at 1 p.m. The service will be held at Sequim Valley Funeral Chapel, 108 West Alder Street in Sequim. An open house will follow at the Bunge home.

Dear Mother it has now been 5 long years ago that you entered into eternal life !! I am miss the loving touch of my mothers hand upon my face, I wish I could feel her putting on my socks again when I was 2 to 3 years of age. I miss her beautiful smile I miss her always encouraging ways i miss my mothers Beautiful singing in church with the voice of an angel. I miss my dad so much also because he made mother who she was and mother made dad who he was they were truly Soul Mates for life...... I love you and miss you so much along with my baby girl my dad and my husband my sister and my brother And many many other members of the family including my precious husband....Mother, sleep in Heavenly Peace much love your Trish.....

Happy belated birthday wishes to our precious Nana McClean! I was pretty certain that the 17th was the day but I have a lot of BD's in August ......wishing you were here as I miss you so much Nana.....you were cute as a button. Thank God for GREGG because he seems to remember all the BD's. Thanks again GREGG for wishing my "wee it" her birthday wishes."...so hard to believe she would have been 38!!!!! Missing all of our loved ones that have gone on to the ULTIMATE ETERNAL LIFE.......miss all of them daily..... Thanks again GREGG for keeping moms guest book online forever. I had done it for Michelle's. I never saw dads um......I shall have to look it up as well as I need to go to auntie Elizabeth and my uncle Teddy's also.

My dearest mother it has been 12 long months since you departed our world for Eternal life! We all feel comforted in knowing the fact that you are no longer in pain Bless your heart you suffered so the last three years. Mom you are the most gorgeous Irish angel spreading your Irish witt, love & Cheer anywhere you can missing you so much my heart aches. Dad you Michelle and all of our precious loved ones, auntie Liz uncle Ted Nana, Nana and Papa Clarke and just very recently I love Clarke. Dear mom. I have missed you every day since you have entered into eternal life. Even the i know you are peacefully at rest with your precious husband cur Dad and our BEATUIFU BABY GIRL MICHELLE. Because I had such a loving and caring sweet husband Ray Volk I was able for visit you during your most precious time of need. Mother I just want you to know you ARE/WERE the best MOTHER EVER. I always told both you were the BEST PARENTS EVER. I'm a wee bit late for yours and my Mom's February birthdays but it's been a rough year. You are my namesake and were the first to be born Gregg McClean; I was the second.
