Harold Bohn Obituary
Harold Owen Bohn passed away on October 3, 2014, at the age of 90.
He was born on October 21, 1923, in Otis Orchards, Washington. He was the youngest son of William Bohn and Louise (Spangenberg) Bohn.
He married his lovely wife, Patricia (Enright), on August 5, 1946, in Balboa, Panama.
He served as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and Vietnam (1959-1960). During his time with the Air Force, he flew more than 15 different types of aircraft.
He was stationed at various bases throughout the U.S., including Strategic Air Command in Omaha, Nebraska, and transferred to the newly started ICM Minuteman Missile Squadron (394th) at Vandenberg Air Force Base near Lompoc, California.
He retired as a lieutenant colonel after 22 years and then went to work for and retired from Sacramento County as a crash rescue/firefighter at Sacramento International Airport.
He is survived by his wife; two children, Sharon (George) Gmelch of Napa Valley, California, and Gregory (Marta) Bohn of Yakima, Washington; his grandchildren, Harold (Julie) Bohn of Yakima, Patrick (Stephanie) Bohn of Lubbock, Texas, and Elizabeth Bohn of Yakima; as well as five great-grandchildren, Julian, Jacob, Nathaniel, Emma and Alexander.
Harold will be missed by his loving family and many friends.
At his request, there will be no funeral. A family memorial will be held at a later date.
Services are entrusted to Sequim Valley Funeral Chapel.

The both of you were so entwined and enjoyed each other. true love glinted from Harold's eyes and you always had a smile. Realizing his work on earth is accomplished you have him as an angel. You have my dearest regards as you now have to deal with the long grieving process. I will keep you in my prayers.
