1954 - 2009
Reverend Paul D. Levins retired Air Force Master Sergeant was born June 7, 1954, in Milton, Florida. He departed this life November 14, 2009. He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife, Hazel Levins, 7 children, and 8 grandchildren.
Services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at Bethel AME Church, Pensacola, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made Pen Air Credit Union in Paul D. Levins Memorial fund account 2607635.

Sis. Levins, My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May the memories of Pastor Levins bring you comfort. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. I must say that I have enjoyed playing the piano at Mt Plesant and his present there will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathy reaches out to the Levins' Family. I know what you are going through, for I lost my brother last month. I cannot find the words that would ease the pain but I know someone who can and He is Doctor JESUS. He can and He will bring you through this.

To Ms. Jettieve, Deidra, Jerome, Dwight and the rest of the family. I was so saddened to hear of the death of Doug. We grew up together and we all had good times in our neighborhood.The memories will forever be cherised. Our neighborhood was very small and we were all very close. I am so sorry that I will not be able to attend the homegoing services.My prayers and thoughts are definitely with you. Doug has always been a very nice and humble person. I was truly excited for him when he shared with me about being in the ministry. God is too wise to make mistakes. God is still in control. May the good Lord continue to bless, keep, comfort, lead and guide you along this journey knowing that he will see you through.

My sincere condolences to Paul's family. My father, Coach Helms, coached Paul at MHS. He was one of fathers finest memories of players who gave their all. I remember picking Paul up and taking him home after Basketball games. He will be missed by all that his life touched.
