PHILIP GITLIN Obituary
PHILIP, January 5, 2012, of Abington. Husband of the late Liberty (nee Collier); father of Barbara (Burton) Siegel and Larry (Rosie) Gitlin; grand-father of Joshua Siegel, Jonathan (Ashley) Gitlin, Leah (Steven) Taylor and Sarah Siegel; great grandfather of Sophie Taylor. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Sunday, 1 P.M. precisely, at GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St. Int. Roosevelt Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed follow-ing Interment, Monday and Tuesday evenings, beginning 7 P.M., at the residence of Barbara and Burton Siegel, Elkins Park. Contributions in his memory may be made to JCRC Interfaith Mission to Israel Fund, c/o Jewish Feder-ation of Greater Phila., 2100 Arch St., Phila. PA 19103, or Rabbi's Discretionary Fund at Cong. Or Hadash, 190 Camp Hill Rd., Ft. Washington PA 19034

Dearest Uncle Phil,
May your memory be only for a blessing. I loved you very much and wish I could have been there to say good-bye; but I know that you knew that I love you and that you were always able to talk to me. Thank you for all that you gave me in your example of strength, love of genuine interaction and conversation, and for your love and appreciation. I hope that you are together with Auntie Lib now, as you wanted to be. May G*d Bless you and yours always. Your loving niece Karen
