STEPHEN W., June 12, 2014. Beloved husband of Mildred (nee Lane). Loving father of Clair Meyerowitz (William), Margot Berg (Robert Epstein ), and Emily Sutton. Beloved Poppee of Sydney, Ivy, Grayson, and Harris. Interment private. Memorial Service to be announced. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Poetry Review, www.aprweb.org.

Steve was one of the people (mostly friends of Bob Mezey or Ron Goodman) that I hung out with during an important transition in my life --60 years ago. I began reconnecting a few months ago but waited three weeks too long to get to Steve. Just resumed writing poems after a long lapse (took a different road). Reading his poems and seeing photos of him, I am saddened by his death and even more saddened for the loss of those many years.
