ARTHUR SCHNEEBERG Obituary
DR. ARTHUR L., died March 21, 2010, at age 85, after a twelve year battle with Alzheimer's disease. Dr. Schneeberg practiced urology in Philadelphia for over 40 years, and was a member of the first kidney transplant program at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Geraldine Cohen Schneeberg, and his three children, Benjamin Schneeberg and his wife Jody of New York, NY, Sara Schneeberg Robinson and her husband Jerry of Bethesda, MD, and Ruth Schneeberg of Phila., PA. He leaves five grandchildren, Michael, Rebecca, Simone, Stella and Asa. Services will be held at JOSEPH LEVINE AND SON, 7112 N. Broad St. on Tuesday March 23, 2010 at 1:30 P.M. followed by interment at Adath Jeshurun Cemetery. Family and friends will return to The Watermark. Shiva will be held at The Watermark through Thursday. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Congregation Adath Jeshurun or the Gift of Life Family House (a new facility for transplant patients and their families), 401 N. 3rd St., Philadelphia, PA 19123.

Gerri, I'm so sorry to hear of Arthur's death. I have such happy memories of the three of us singing in the AJ Choral Society. I send my affection and sympathy to you and your dear family. May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Since we saw him mainly at family events, we remember Arthur as always happy, taking pleasure in his children and grandchildren, and delighted to see us. He was such a charming person that we were delighted to see him, too.
