I was very sad to learn of Mr. Pardee's passing and wish to offer my condolences to his family. As an officer of one time ASLRRA member, Wilmington & Western Railway, Mr. Pardee would often come to DC to meet with members of our staff and he would attend all of the ASLRRA's meetings and conferences. He was a true gentleman and his kindnesses are not forgotten.

To the Family of E. Lewis Pardee
The members and officers of Historic Red Clay Valley, Inc., and the Wilmington and Western Railway Corp. sadly give our condolences to a wonderful railroad friend. We all were very fortunate to have known him for the last 40 years and appreciated all the support he has given to us.
With extreme sadness we say goodby.

To the Pardee family,
We are sorry for the loss of your loved one. May the comforting words from family and friends continue to strengthen you, and the fond memories of your loved one continue to provide comfort to you.
May you also find a measure of comfort and peace in God's promises found in the last book of the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." 2 Peter 3:13; 1 Cor. 15:24-26

The Stanton Family sends condolences - we'll always remember the Golden Spike Ceremony with Lou wearing his Top Hat and officiating.
May he rest in peace,
