WILLIAM ALAN
Alan traveled many places over his lifetime and shared his knowledge of business throughout many different careers that ranged from the oil industry to the restaurant industry. Alan was a devoted husband and grandfather. An avid sports lover he enjoyed watching his grandchildren play football, basketball, baseball, and track.
Alan loved working with his wife Jan and "doing life" with her. Alan and Jan worked to build and grow their own consulting business, where Alan coached many clients to help them "Attract Their Perfect Customers." He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
A Memorial Service to honor the life of Alan Hickman is scheduled for 3:00 P.M. on August 27th at the Unity Church in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Local contributions in Alan's name can be made to Tyler Arboretum, 515 Painter Rd., Media, PA 19063 or TylerArboretum.org/giving

I was a classmate of Alan in the Landscape Architecture program at Penn State. Al was one of three guys I shared an apartment with in Portugal when we went on our overseas study program in the fall of 1970. Great memories of traveling around Europe with Al and the class. Lost track of Al after graduating from Penn State and moving out of PA. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

Alan had such an effervescent personality. Loved his laugh & smile! I only knew him in high school; and when I moved to southern CA in 1969, I lost contact with many from Haverford. I know he will be missed greatly by family & friends.
My condolences to you Jan and your family. I will pray that you'll feel God's loving arms of comfort & strength wrapped around you. Alan left this earth way too soon.
