My son (Bobby grady) attended Roman with Donald (ducky) as the boys called him I remember and pray for your family What a tragedy as I met Donald several times at Roman. He was full of life. At a mother son dance Bobby asked me to dance and then left me in dance floor. Donald jumped in and danced with me. I cannot express how sorry I am so his happened to your family. I don't even know where to begin. Donald I loved you as you were my own. I have so many memories with you that I will cherish forever. I'm gonna miss our talks our Friday and Sunday drives. Our trips to the shore. I remember a few years ago we were at clemation park and we were standing in line don't remember what the exact conversation was but here the deacon from HI was standing in front and we had to ride with him and when we told us he was newly at HI we couldn't believe it all we could do was laugh and we had to go tell our moms what happened.. What a way for us to represent HI they told us. We had the craziest times together. You confided in me as I did you. I'm gonna miss you so much. This still isn't real to me. I promise to make sure Jordan knows all about you. I love you Donald so much and will miss you forever..

I never liked calling you my "cousin" because I feel like that word never held very much weight. "Cousins" kind of sounds like those people around your age that you see at family gatherings and talk to about the weather. Donald, you were my best friend and like another brother to me. I can't even think of one single story to write here in your memory because we just have so much history together. All I know is that I am positive I will never meet someone as funny, thoughtful and just all around good as you were. Air has gotten so much harder to breathe since Wednesday and all I hope for you and our family now is that justice will be served. I've never really believed in heaven but, man, I hope you're in it now and I hope you are free and happy. I'll always love you and I will always cherish our twenty years together.
