Frank was my inspiration to become a deep sea diver when I watched Diver Dan on TV. Many years later, joined the navy and became became a 1st class deep-sea salvage diver. Never seen mermaids like Dan, but had great career. Thank you for your service and acting career that inspired many!

I know you are around Pop when I see a deer at my house. Crazy as that may sound to someone I just know it’s you! Me and your grandsons talk about you often and the conversation usually starts with how we miss you and the great times you shared especially when you took the boys up Lost Lake. May you RIP Pop and watch over all of us. Until we meet again Love Lisa and your grandsons ♥

I still miss you Frank. The crystal that i have at my window is a reminder as to when i was told by my daughter that you had died. She bought it for me. And periodically i get a chance to see rainbow colors. Beautiful indeed. You were very good to me n i will always cherish that. Love you, Barbara A. Birch

Like others, I also have fond memories of watching Diver Dan. I am now 61 years old & still watch the episodes on YouTube & Internet Archive. From what I have read here from people who knew Frank, i can see how special he was to many. May he rest in peace.

Pop(Frank):

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you! You were always like a father to me and became more so after my father passed away which was many years ago. You dedication and concern for my boys(your grandson's) was so profound and you have touched them as well as myself in ways I can never explain to anyone but you, so until we meet again please watch over me and your grandson's...
RIP and love you, Lisa

It is a Sad Day for Me Today because I had a feeling that Frank was gone but I'm just finding out and unbelieveably it has been one month ago today. We spoke before he was admitted in the Hospital but I prayed that he still would make it. Me and Frank have been friends for over 29 years, and he was an inspiration to me and my Family. He will ALWAYS be special to me. I will ALWAYS LOVE YOU Frank. Rest In Peace

It is a sad day. I will miss Frank. He was my childhood hero. I knew him when I was 8 growing up in New Jersey. My mother acted in some shows with Frank and he would come by our house to visit. He always had time to talk with me and I was just awestruck that here was the incredible Diver Dan ...in my house...talking to me.
It was like having a TV star of the highest degree to visit! I will never forget his kindness when he gave me my first baseball glove. As an adult we started to write one another and speak on the phone at the holidays. He always sent the nicest Christmas cards and fun notes. My condolences to the family. RIP Frank.

I was a friend of Franks for over 50 years. We met in the theatre and remained friends ever after. We were in several plays together and I tried out for the mermaid in DiverDan but didn't get it. Frank would give me lots of leads to find parts when I lived in N.J. And he in Philla. We moved to Calif years ago but would visit Frank every few years when we got to NYC. That was always fun. He knew that city! So many happy memories, particularly when we were doing a show for the Quaker Society led by Jim Griffith and our trips to the shore.,particularly Cape May. My husband Ted really enjoyed being with Frank and appreciated his sharp wit and sense of humor. Can't express how much we will miss him,his phone calls, his attempt to change my political view from Democratic to Republican. I had to limit his articles that kept coming in the Mail. Love you, Frank. And your memory will be with us always. Lois Almen Everett and Ted Everett.
