On January 6, 2017 of Hershey's Mill West Chester, beloved husband of Nancy G (nee Graham) and devoted father of Joseph B. Flanagan (Mindy) of Prescott, AZ, Maura Crago (Tom) of Havertown and Paul Flanagan (Heather) of West Chester; grandfather of John P. and Elisabeth Gavin and Katherine and Alana Flanagan; brother of Marie Terese O'Hora, Anne Burgoyne, Joseph C. Flanagan, MD (Cathy) and the late Kathleen McIlvaine. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Wednesday, January 11 at 11 A.M. at SS. Peter and Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd., West Chester, PA 19380 where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:45 A.M. Int. at a later date at St. Agnes Cem. West Chester. For those desiring, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in John's name to Bethesda Project, 1630 South Street, Phila. PA 19146 would be appreciated.

My Uncle John was a true healer. His kind ways and compassion will be truly missed. I will pray for my Aunt Nancy, Maura, Joe and Paul. I know how difficult loss can be and I am sorry you have to bear this grief.
