THOMAS JAMES "UNCLE TOM", Feb. 20, 2008. Beloved husband of Eva (nee Kober). Devoted father of Eva Goodman (William), Phylis Zaroff (Shawn) and Thomas J., Jr. (Stephanie). Loving grandfather of Shawna, Alaina, Thomas J., III and Adeline. Dear brother of George Zaroff and Georgine Ireland. Sadly missed by The Kober Family and his many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mon. 8 A.M. from the McELVARR FUNERAL HOME, 1415-17 E. Susquehanna Ave. (Girard Ave. Exit I95), Fishtown. Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M. Nativity B.V.M. Church. Int. Oakland Cem. Viewing Sunday after 6 P.M. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family is respectfully requesting memorial contrib-utions to St. Vincent's Home, 7201 Milnor St., Phila., PA 19135

Hey Unc... Stopped by Lil Tommy's page and had to say HI to you too. We miss you and my Beautiful Eve soo much and now my Phillie tòo. There just aren't enough Zaroffs left in the world anymore. We love you dearly and miss you soo much.... How about this pic I found of you and Kevin "Kid Blast" ?...seems like yesterday huh ? And of course there's the Ironhead. Still love it ..and all the more cause it came from you. Miss ya .

We still think of you often Dear Unc..I still have the blue 61 sporty..still love it still in original condition. I'll never forget the day you gave it to Scurv for me. "If you can hold it up.. you can have it".Well Unc it's almost 30 years later and I still have it. Time is so fleeting. Miss you Eve and Little Tommy. Here it is, 8 months since you left, and I still can't get it through my head that you are gone. No more can I stop for a smoke and a coffee to talk with you at Aramingo & Tioga on my way to pick up my wife from work(Tastykake) . The memory of the times we shared together, after almost 30 years will keep you alive in my heart. To me, and so many others, you were a brother, mentor, guardian, and friend. Don't worry. I keep silently "peeping out" when I can like you asked . As I always said when it was time for me to be on my way, "I'll see ya when I get there". "Hold a spot for me". To Eve and the whole Zaroff family words cannot begin to express my condolences,we have all lost a truly standup guy.Our lives must be looked at as a whole, not just a single event either good or bad,and the "Good Uncle" definetly took care of those around him above and beyond most,he will truly be missed by anyone that really knew him.My prayers and support go out to the family, and to "Uncle Tom" enjoy forever a sunny day for riding, where the bike starts on the first kick every time, you never run out of gas, and no one pulls out in front of you.Rest in peace Brother!

We have lost a true legend this week, and my heart goes out to Uncle Tom's wife and kids. He was known and loved by many, I myself have great memories of Uncle Tom when I was younger at the Pennypack Picnics and at the campground down the shore...he was a great guy and I am blessed to have known him.
