NEIL GLAVIN Obituary
NEIL, passed away on July 1, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Marci Glavin; loving father of Ryan, Colin, and Brendan; dear son of Jerry Glavin and the late Grace Glavin (nee McGinley); loving brother of Jerry Jr., Kathleen Masciantonio, Patrick, Brian, Timothy, and the late Marianne Glavin. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at SCHIMUNEK FUNERAL HOME OF BEL AIR, INC., 610 W. MacPhail Rd. (at Rt. 24) on Tuesday from 6 to 9 P.M. and Wed. from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wed. at 11:30 A.M., St. Mark Catholic Church (Fallston, MD). Int. private.

Neil and I grew up together...living down the block from each other and attending Good Shepherd together. God Bless you all and be with you at this time of sadness. I saw the sad news only this morning when Kathleen's memorial invitation was sent out for Neil via Facebook. I am deeply saddened by Neil's passing - although we have not seen each over the years since he attended my wedding with his dad. The Glavin family has endured so much over the years and will see this through with that same strength. My thoughts are with Marci, their boys and the entire Glavin family. Jerry - you are a rock - may God be at your side once again to pull you through this.

Marci, my deepest condolences. Neil and I went to 8 years of Good Shepherd and 4 years at West together. He was always the nicest person to know. I remember as a kid sleeping over at the Glavins and sneaking downstairs for ice cream in the store. God Bless,Pat Brown

I met Neil and Marci 23 years ago, while planning their wedding, Neil was young but managed to be both sincere and hilarious at the same time. As he got older, both of those qualities only ripened. Neil was as nice and easy going as a human being could be. I haven't seen Neil since my teenage years (almost 30 years ago) but his personality makes it feel like I seen him a month ago. God bless you Neil and to all of the Glavin's family and friends. Take care.
