CARMEN C. JR. "SHOTS", suddenly on Aug. 12, 2011. Loving father of Christina DiRago, Christian DiRago, Scott Sanders and Holly Sanders (Shawn). Devoted grandfather of Sommer Sanders. Beloved brother of Sally Ann D-Alfonso (Charles), Joan Yurick (William) and Sunday DiRago. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives, friends, members of Local 1291 are invited to his Funeral Wednesday 8 A.M. from THE ROGERS FUNERAL HOME, 1426-30 S. 3rd St., Phila. followed by his Funeral Mass Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 10 A.M. Int. Calvary Cem, Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers family request donations in Chuckie's name be made to his children.

Yo Bull hope you enjoyed the tribute we had for you Friday. Miss ya more now than ever. I know you were there that day with all your family and friends who came to show their love for you. I know that because after your family and friends threw 40 carnation, Joanie a bouquet of roses, and your son threw the wreath we got you like a frisbee, everyone loaded back on the bus. Your family stayed for a few more minute's to say their prayers and goodbyes. Well you did it again, we all noticed all the carnations and roses went down river with the strong current. Then as we all looked at the wreath your son threw in it didn't move at all but just floated there still. After we loaded the bus I seen the wreath go with the current. Your final surprise that day was when we worked the barge that afternoon Jimmy said to me come see this, he showed me your wreath was still there under the barge until the job was done and the barge sailed away. Miss Ya Love Ya Bull.

Happy Birthday Dad. I love and miss you so much. All I want to do is call you and tell you how young you are. I miss buying funny cards for you on your birthday and making you laugh because how relevant the cards were to our relationship. I think about you every day and wonder about who are protecting. I want to say "I hope you are proud of me" but I won't because I don't have to hope for that. I already know how proud you are of me and the things I have been doing in your honor. I keep you in my mind every day at school, when times get hard, and when people look down upon me. You are the only one I want to make proud and I am so grateful to have you watching over me. My Sweet Beloved Brother,
I miss you so much and it is still very difficult to try and cope each day without you in my life. You trusted and loved me along with my family. Bill and I never hesitated when you reached out to us for guidance. I am so grateful that you and Bill had a special bond, almost as special as you and I. You were the greatest brother and I miss our daily conversations. Time does not heal the pain of your passing, it only slowly tries to erase your image. Memories of our relationship are good and sacred to me, never negative or unpleasant circumstances. Sitting around my kitchen table, always with lots of laughter. Your compassion for others was always one of your strengths which I admired most about you. I always pray that as your sister I never disappointed or intentionally hurt you in any way. My belief is that on the day you left us, Nicky was able to reach down and lift you up to the heavens. I will always love, honor and respect you my dear brother, Chalie.
