RICHARD TRIFIELD Obituary
RICHARD L., 90, January 14, 2013, at home, the Briar House, 8203 Old York Road, Elkins Park PA, of natural causes.
Loving husband of the late Joyce (nee Gimbel) Trifield. He is survived by his children, Barbara Gordon, Beth Brunswick, Julie Steinberg, and Richard Alexander. Dear grand-father of Jennifer, Michael, Ben, Brad, Steven, Samantha and great-grandfather of Abigail. His daughter Joan Trifield predeceased him. Mr. Trifield was awarded the Purple Heart, with 2 separate clusters, the Bronze Star and a Citation for Bravery during World War II. A Memorial Service will be held at Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel, Elkins Park PA, on Sunday, January 27th, at 1 P.M. The family will return to the late residence Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 P.M. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Research or to Rangeley Regional Health & Wellness Partnership, P.O. Box 772, Rangeley Maine 04970.

The memories of Dick & Joyce are plentiful. They were wonderful people and the finest friends my folks could have. Our families were one for years, and Dick will be remembered fondly. My condolences to the entire family.
