Joe, we miss you already. You were always so generous and loving whenever we were together. If one judges a man by the love in his family, no one I've ever met is close to you. Olive Garden will never be the same for us. Hope you are enjoying some glorious breadsticks right now. Will fond memories and love.

I married into this beautiful family as a cousin. From the very beginning I knew what a great person Joe was. I was always amazed at how he and Mary Ann always was with either their children or grandchildren. A family man through and through. Also, he was always making people laugh and feel good. One could not ask for a better cousin. Although Lou and I will be unable to attend the viewing/funeral, my thoughts will be with the entire DiGirolamo family. May God Bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

A POEM ABOUT JOEY
Joe Di Girolamo was truly an amazing guy.
He was one-of-a-kind and here's the reason why…
He was generous and caring, and always so much fun,
A great man who touched the heart of each and every one.
He was a loving husband to his wife, Mary Ann,
From the day they first met and their lives began.
Joe was family-oriented from the very start,
He produced four children, all who warmed his heart.
He was proud of his three daughters and his only son,
Who kept their father stepping, and always on the run.
He attended dance recitals and every baseball game,
Proven by the albums and the photos in a frame.
There were lots of memories made throughout the years,
Looking back on pictures will bring only happy tears.
He was the best “Pop-Pop” created on this earth,
To all eight of his grandkids from the moment of each birth.
Their grandfather was there for them and never out of reach,
While having fun on the rides or playing on the beach.
Wildwood days were wonderful, and the Pocono's, no doubt,
Enjoying life with family is what Joe was all about.
As a father-in-law, Joe was the best that could be had,
The four spouses of his kids loved him as their own dad.
He took the kids to Rockefeller Center sometime in the fall,
Then returned to see the tree ‘they planted' grown so big and tall.
Christmas was always fun, stockings hung and candy canes,
And Pop-Pop's basement filled with amazing tracks and trains.
Watching fireworks on New Year's Eve, though sometimes kind of chilly,
Then bundling up on New Year's Day for the Mummers in South Philly.
Joe is with the Lord now, and from this earth he's gone,
But he's living here in spirit forever on and on.
Eternal life in heaven, watching from above,
Proud of the family who filled his heart with love.
