I was so very sad this evening to go to our church 125th anniversary meeting and to find out about Maureens' passing. She touched soooo many lives and was a very beautiful person. She loved and cared so deeply for everyone. St Gertrude Parish was Blessed to have known her. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of her loving family and friend's. RIP Maureen!!

Such a sad moment. Maureen's journey home to God is sure to be lined with reflections of the smiles she gave while here on earth. I remember only kind thoughts of her from St. Anne's and Hallahan.

My wife and I loved Maureen. She was such a gentle, loving person who always had a little mischief in her eye! We will truly miss her and were hugely saddened by her death.

Our thoughts, and prayers, to Bunny, Danny, and Kassie. What a wonderful sister GOD gave you, and a sweet friend, I got to spend time with. Reenie, had a warm way, about her, a sweet smile, and a contagious laugh, I loved. We spent many special times, sitting on the benches, at the square. She would listen to my concerns, of boyfriend complaints, and I would listen to her complants. Our last meeting took place at a thriftstore,( my friend, had the same hobby, as me) We laughed, at each other, as we draped ourselves, in coats 2x, our size. Some coats, were fur, that made us look, larger, than we were. All we did on that last meeting, was laugh, just like we did, as teenagers. I'm greatful, for having Reenie, as a friend. GOD now has her back, he needed her, more than us on earth. May she smile, over us, and bring peace, to all who need it. PEACE TO YOU REEN, THANK YOU, FOR SHARING YOUR WONDERFUL SELF, WITH ALL OF US. Maureen lite up the world with her smile. She cared for other in such a special way. She had a heart of gold. She was a treasure chest of sincerity, honesty , wit, charm ,..a twinkle in her eye that no one could hold a candle to. You made this world a better place for so many people. Even people you never laid eyes upon. Your love had a ripple effect to rival a tsunami. You are at rest now, at peace.. In the arms of our all knowing all loving God whose capacity to understand sadness and sorrow is beyond the scope of our human imagination. Rest in peace.. If I know Maureen, she will be like St. Theresa, who said she would spend her heaven doing good on earth.
