Honey and family
I was indeed shocked today as I heard of this tragic loss. Jim has been through so much over the past few years....I can only say that God must have a plan...He is at rest and beyond all the strains and conflicts this world has thrown his way. I've known Jim a long time and only have good memories of him...LBI fishing on my boat...parties on pine street...he drove the long miles to be at my wedding...he was a great guy,a decent loving family man,an everchanging businessman....he will be dearly missed. It was all too soon...our hearts and prayers go out to you all.Remember the good times, keep him in your hearts. I am a better man for having known Jim,and was always proud to call him a freind. Dear Transue Family,
I cannot tell you how saddened I was to hear of Jim's passing. I met him only recently through the antiques auction business, but his kindness, humor and generosity of spirit were evident in his every action. I will miss his graceful presence. My thoughts are with you.

My Wife Lynn and I have known Jim for a good 30 years, as we are also in the Antique business. In this insular and highly competitive business, Jim was one of the good guys; a Man who carried Himself with uncommon grace. As is so often the case with the this rare breed, He was self-effacing and seemingly unaware of His gifts. Although He's gone, we will always treasure Jim's smile, His easy going attentiveness and, most of all, His kindness. If its true that only the good die young, then Jim is somewhere in very good company, and we know that, wherever He is, that place is now a better place. Be well, Jim, we will always miss You. To the Family of Jim Transue:
We are very saddened to hear about Your Loss of Jim. You don't know me but Jim came to my auction in Burlington Co. many moons ago. about 30+ years ago. Our Co. was Web & Assoc. in Riverton, NJ. Sometimes, after the auction we would visit a local Pub and toss a few down. What fun it was then.
Just thinking of You now and to tell You what a Great Guy Jim was. I saw Jim at S&S about 8 months ago, we talked for a short time. I have lived in Florida for 5+ years and don't get to NJ that often anymore. My NJ clerk, Sandi Sank,& I knew Jim back in the Day. Sandi later clerked for Bill Bunch and now clerks at the Dutch.
Sandi & I wish to convey our he heartful thoughts to all of Jim's Family.
Sincerely,
Bill Barron, Auctioneer
