ROSA H. (nee Hutson), Jan. 20, 2014. Wife of the late G. Lester Blankin Jr. Mother of Rosa T., John H. and Mary E. Blankin and Leslie B. Lane. Sister of Harry C. Hutson of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Also survived by 10 grandchildren. Services and interment private. Memorial contributions in Rosie's name may be made to The Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, 8000 St. Martin's La., Phila., PA 19118.

Dear Blankin family, and especially Leslie,
I just learned of your mother's passing, and I am so sorry that I didn't get to see her again! I enjoyed a couple of visits with her at Cathedral Village after my mother died in 2012, and I loved hearing her old stories and enjoyed her sense of humor. Our mothers had a wonderful friendship, for which I am grateful. My love and sympathy to all of you!

Dear Blankins, I just learned this morning of your Mother's passing.
Sam and truly adored her and had some very fun lunches with her recently.
I will cherish the memories of your wonderful parents.

My Lord, I am so saddened. My Dear Toni, Leslie, John & Mary E. As my tears fall I can imagine what you are feeling. I share your pain. Your parents I knew as a young girl. Your grandparents I knew as a child. The four of you I met when we all were quite young. Mary E. I remember as a toddler.
Your mom and grandparents had a wonderful connection with my mom and grands parents. Memories I reflect upon when I think of my growing up. Somehow your family was special to me. I will miss the occasional talks with Rosie of Brick House and Edisto, which we spoke of recently.
My condolences to Harry and his children as well.
