REV. JOHN "BUD" LAURENCE, of Newtown Square and formerly of Berwyn, on Feb. 18, 2015, age 86. Survived by his wife of 61 yrs, Mildred "Parm" (nee Parmelee); children Laurie, Jeff and Brad; 6 grandchildren and sister Francis Jenkins. Bud was pastor of Christian Education at First Baptist Churches, Chico & Oakland, CA. He worked for 30 years at The American Baptist Churches of USA in Valley Forge on the Executive Staff of Educational Ministries. He volunteered in retirement with Habitat for Humanity and at American Baptist Assembly, Green Lake, WI. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Reserves. Memorial Service will be held March 8th, 3:30 P.M. at Central Baptist Church, Wayne, PA.
